The new owners of the Stratosphere Casino over in Las Vegas, which they have recently renamed as The Strat, have certainly been throwing a lot of money recently at that property.

The new owners are of course Golden Entertainment, and over the last year or so they have been completely remodelling the gaming floor and improving the facilities on offer at the casino resort, however something they appear to have made a complete mess of is their players club.

Long time visitors to the Stratosphere Casino will have become very accustomed to using their old Ace Play players club cards, and also making use of the website that is linked up to that players club.

By logging in with their players club account details players can then instantly see just what offers are going to be available to them on any additional visits they make to the property. However, Golden Entertainment do of course have their own players club, that being the True Rewards program, and they have now rolled it out at The Strat.

But for a customer of that casino to have access to their players club offers and deals, which have been carried over from Ace Play to the True Rewards club, they must visit the players club desk in The Strat to get a new True Rewards players card and provide all of the usual identification documents, and also select a PIN for their new card.

By doing so they can then log into the True Rewards account online and then see what they have earned by way of comps and additional extras.

However, what is annoying a very large number of customers, much more so those that live overseas, is that there is no way they can switch their old Ace Play cards and accounts over to the new True Regards cards and accounts without visiting the property in person.

Part and parcel of planning a vacation to Vegas is knowing just what offers, deals and even free slot play you are going to be awarded with, which is something non-US based players of The Strat cannot currently do, and that oversight could see those players choosing to stay and play elsewhere of course.
