Sadly there is only one member of the Bee Gees still with us however back on the 17th of March 1968 they made their US TV Debut, which proved to be a huge boost to their pop careers which went onto last many decades.

It was on the popular Ed Sullivan Show that they performed two of their at the time new songs, that being both To Love Somebody and also Words.

What I do enjoy doing on every single day of the week is to present to you a slot machine that has some historic significance, and as such one slot which fits the bill on this day in history news story perfectly is or should I say did fit the bill was Microgaming’s the Gee Gees slot.

Sadly however that slot game which was in fact a Fruit Machine is, much like most of the Bee Gees no longer with us, for Microgaming retired all bar one of their fruit machines a few years back, taking with them that bonus game packed fruit machine with them.

What fruit machines are famed for is the frequency at which players will trigger and be awarded a whole host of bonus features that are not found on casino styled slot games, they do also tend to offer a three reel single pay-line playing structure too.

Some of those regularly triggering bonus games and bonus features include the hold feature on which players can hold reels into place for the next spin, even reels containing a winning combination, and a nudge feature when awarded would allow players to move any reels downwards in an attempt to help them line up winning combinations.

The only fruit machine that you are still going to find on offer at casino sites that offer Microgaming’s range of games is their Pub Fruity game.
