The Encore Boston Harbor Casino Resort did open in a blaze of glory recently, and if the first full month of gambling revenue that has just been announced is anything to go by, that casino resort is likely to be a very profitable one moving forward.
In total the venue earned some $48.6 million in gambling revenue for its first full month of operation, which equates to some $216 per day for each slot machine whilst the table games each generated some $3,829.
Those slot machine income figures do look impressive, much more so when you compare them to another nearby casino, for the casino generated more per slot machine than the MGM Springfield, but slightly less than Plainridge Park Casino, which for reference only operates slot machines and has no gaming tables on their gaming floor.
The total gambling income revenue figures for all three of those properties for July 2019 are $20.4 million for the MGM Springfield, Plainridge Park Casino generated some $12.5 million and as mentioned up above the Encore Boston Harbor Casino generated some $48.6 million.
However, what does make interesting reading are the figures that Plainridge Casino generated last year, for it took some $15.1 million in July of 2018, therefore meaning that the Encore Boston Harbor Casino did take business away from that casino with their casino resort last month.
Whilst it is very true to say that the Encore Boston Harbor Casino has had a few teething problems since opening, and did upset some of their new customers with their Blackjack pay-outs, and have also experienced some security issues with customers visiting their nightclub, it is a stunning venue and one that a huge number of people are visiting day in and day out.
